Friends at work turned me on to the Trailer Park Boys mockumentary television series - addicting! I began to notice the character Ricky’s malapropisms Rickyisms. For a taste, watch this clip. It is shoot milk through your nose funny if your sense of humor of is in any kind of shape, make my words. It only airs in Canada, but it doesn’t take rocket appliances to find episodes on the internet.

My good friend Matt Schuman was one of the few people I met in college that knew what they wanted to do, and actually did just that. For Matt, it was film. Here is one of his music videos that he created for Val Emmich’s The Only One Lonely. The video is up for an Independent Music Award. You can vote for it and others here. Yesterday, I picked up a four pack of this beer for the office. Yes, we have a beer at the office on occasion, but I didn’t really mean to by a 9% beer. I drank with cation. Maybe it’s not for the office, but I have to say that I do really love this porter. I plan to save some for a time of fear and loathing in a more appropriate atmosphere. Cheers!

All of this drenching rain that we desperately need makes me think of the My Morning Jacket show at Bonnaroo 2004. They got drenched with the crowd, playing an incredible and wet set. Here’s a song from that rainy day to go with this rainy day.

This is an interesting read suggesting that OK Computer and In Rainbows were meant to compliment each other. If you didn’t figure it out already, you probably aren’t a fanatic geek with an understanding of binary and too much time on your hands. Lucky for you, someone else has posted this.
