Rest In Peace Jack
Saturday night was shitty. I discovered that my cat Jack had a run in with something and was badly wounded. Unfortunately I had to have him put to sleep. It’s a tough thing, and I will really miss him. He was a good one. I’m not asking for sympathy. Instead, you could help an animal in need by donating to your local animal shelter. You’ll feel good about it. Pet Finder

I’m a Twit
One of our corporate clients wanted to start using twitter and feature it on their blog. So I had a reason to test the waters. I’ve resisted twitter. Who the hell cares what I’m up to all the time anyway. I see that it can be more than that, and I’m giving it a go. I’ve added the feed to the sidebar (currently to the right of this sentence). I’ve also installed Twitterrific on my Macbook Pro, and I love the way it incorporates Growl for notifications (yes, I’m a Mac). If you don’t know what it’s all about, visit www.twitter.com. Follow me here.
PS - Speaking of being a Mac, did you know all the new “I’m a PC” ads were made on Macs? D-OH!

This is an experiment with a Photoshop post production technique to achieve a tilt-shift effect without a tilt-shift lens. It gives things a miniature look not unlike the narrow depth of field you see in lots of macro photography. I followed this tutorial.
