Eko road into town with me for a walk in a neighborhood with cars, cats, and dogs; not the usual cows, cats, and chickens. He completely ignored every dog, even the barking spaz that begged for a reaction. We stopped at a friends for a beer where he met Herman the Maine Coon. Herman didn’t really appreciate his presence, but he eventually came to the porch and Eko minded his manners. He got to hang with everyone at Libby’s after that. She’s has two cats. I’m sure they didn’t appreciate his company either, but he barely even noticed them. I’m really proud of my pit bull pup. They’re a great breed, and shelters are full of them. I hope he inspires others to adopt one of these great dogs. They need rescue.
