While we were at the wedding last Saturday, Eko got bored. I made sure to take him for a good long walk before I left him. He was great on the walk. My housemate, Sarah, was gone for the day. I felt guilty about leaving him crated. So I left him out. I thought he'd be tired, and do his usual lounging on the couch. I was wrong.

Luckily the text message from Sarah didn't get my attention until Sunday morning. Luckily Sarah discovered the scene before me. Luckily I had time to calm down before I got home.

The following occurred:

  • Ate approximately 15 lbs of cat food that he pulled off a counter

  • Made two piles of poop in the house (see first bullet)

  • Dug a 10" diameter hole in the carpet in the den

Trust just left the building.
