Jordan Lake Paddle
I went kayaking yesterday and took the camera along. It was a typical day with lots of bald eagles around. It is hard to get crisp shots of the eagles from the seat of a kayak, but they’re fun to watch. The water snake was the most fun to photograph because I was able to get very close without disturbing it.

Deep River - Camelback Bridge
I spent most of the day paddling the Deep River yesterday. It was so muddy and slippery, that there wasn’t an easy way to enter or exit the river. I tried the slide down the bank in the kayak entry. I got wet. We had to exit far upstream of our car and pass the boats over barbed wire and cross a cow pasture at the end of the trip. The middle was very relaxing though. River running is lots of fun.
